After Beer Fest, Hannah went to dinner with a friend, who suggested setting her up with Brin as a future wedding date. On a whim, she called him during dinner and invited him to meet up at Blue Post later that night. Little did they know, that spontaneous decision would lead to them becoming each other’s forever wedding dates!

Four weeks later, Brin flew to Asheville for their first date, which featured cocktails at Antidote and board games at Well Played board game café. Over the next 10 months, they got to know each other better while traveling between Asheville and Wilmington. Some of their favorite memories from that time include Brin’s “Grease” themed work party and hiking adventures with Lorelai and Brinkley.

On this day, the world lost Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her death would end up leading to another historical event later that evening. While out with a group of friends downtown Asheville, Hannah received the news of RBG’s passing. Distraught, and inspired by her good friend, Jack Daniels, Hannah finally confesses her love for Brin and asks for him to be her boyfriend, to which he accepts, though not to Hannah’s recollection...

A couple weeks later, Brin celebrate’s his 24th birthday at Lake Gaston. He begins introducing Hannah as his girlfriend, much to her surprise, where she discovers that she actually asked Brin to be official the last time they were together.

Brin and Hannah hike Camelback Mountain while visiting Phoenix, AZ. To date, this is by far the hardest and steepest hike they have ever been on.
